Last week's Instagram post, Instagram post number six, was about soundtracking my imaginary world. This week's blog post is going to elaborate on that and go over why I chose what I did for my soundtrack. In case you are unfamiliar with what week's blog post was exactly let me refresh your memory. It was this picture and caption:
"My world is filled with happiness and fun so it just makes sense that I have a coordinating soundtrack.🎧 It is a mix of country, hip-hop, throwbacks, and sappy love songs.🎶 It ranges for all moods, but mostly happy ones, that way whatever you’re feeling you can dance it out and leave yourself smiling in the end!😁"
I chose this variety of a playlist because it is the playlist I listen to in my everyday life and I want my imaginary world to resemble my real life world. As you can see from my playlist I like Hip-Hop, Country, sad songs, love songs, love songs, a mix of everything.
This playlist fits my imaginary world because when I am happy I listen to either Hip-Hop or Country because those are my favorites! When I am feeling down I listen to sad songs, duh, that is an obvious! Sometimes, on weird days, when I am feeling happy I will listen to sad songs just to be slightly sappy and be a hopeless romantic that is hopeless. Then there is one song on my playlist that is very special in my imaginary world. It is "The Story" sang by Sara Ramirez. Sara Ramirez may sound familiar because she plays Dr. Callie Torres in Grey's Anatomy. When I'm feeling down I play this song a few times then listen to "Where Does The Good Go" by Tegan and Sara and dance it out. This was inspired from Grey's Anatomy. From the beginning Meredith and Cristina dance their problems and worries away all the way, (SPOILER ALERT!!), to the end when Cristina takes a job at another hospital and leaves Meredith.
