This photo shows how I started my weekend. It also shows I am family oriented.
The typical college student starts their weekend on Thursday evening at the bar but instead I got to dress up and go out for another occasion. My cousin graduated as a dental assistant from YTI.
The story continues after the graduation at one of my favorite places, CHICK-FIL-A! Some of the family went here to eat and to just be together for a little longer since it is difficult to see each other.
This photo shows me doing my homework after I got home from the graduation ceremony. College students love to put things off and that's what I did here.
So now it is Friday and my roommates and I are done with class. I get a text from a friend who just got a puppy and asks if they can stop by so we can meet the little fellow! Of course we said yes!!
This picture shows the progress of my afternoon. My childhood best friend, Kristin, came up for a few hours and gave me an early birthday gift! (Clearly we love FRIENDS!)
Kristin and I absolutely love horror flicks, even though she is a giant scaredy cat! We used this opportunity and my student tickets, to go see the newest, darkest chapter in the line of The Conjuring movies!
After an afternoon spent with Kristin it was roomie time! My roommate, Natasha, and I are ready for a college weekend! Here is a basic selfie of us while getting ready for a party we are going to Friday evening.
What is a college party without your basic dirty mirror picture? You can't forget the kissed cheek and sticking out your tongue. This picture shows how some cliches might just be a little accurate.
This picture will be used to show that my other roommate, Julia, was also at the party. College students usually take a lot of pictures while out and about. This pictures serves as proof of that.
Saturday morning. Natasha and I wake up STARVING. The only answer is Denny's!
Natasha and I clearly have two different ideas of starving. We finished our meals until we couldn't eat anymore. Then, I had slight regret of eating so much but I was too happy to care.
After a night of drinking, dancing, and laughs we fill our tummies and decide to do some shopping for tonight's festivities. We were going to a luau themed party but I clearly got distracted by this beauty. I decided to treat myself since my birthday is coming up!
IT'S LUAU TIME! Natasha and I get craft and decide to wear one piece swim suits covered by a pair of shorts or skirts, and then a flower patterned flannels. We were very excited for this party.
Finally to end the night we get to the party and run into our friend Jon. Obviously we need another picture since he is the one that invited us to the party. This picture was also a bittersweet necessity because this is the final semester for all of us and we want to make it the best we yet!
